Web Icons, Old School Style

Here are some icons from Glasgow Uniwersity, some by the reclusive Gilbert Hyatt (pretty sure this is not the same fellow who patented the microprocessor). Also there are icons by Dave's Graphics, Justin Hall and Kirsten Brennan. Don't know where any of these folks are today. If you're out there, feel free to contact Kid Visio.

These icons could be called "old school," because they all were created prior to 2003.

Some of our sources for graphics templates and ideas have been Glasgow University's Miscellaneous Icons from their Web Society club (no longer active).

To take the place of this inactive club, Glasgow University recommends Code Your Future, a UK based non-profit organisation that provides free training for refugees, asylum seekers and other disadvantaged people. Trainees become web developers and find work in the tech industry.
